JoAnn’s undergraduate degree was awarded with honors from St. Edward’s University and her master’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin. Her initial career was in the field of commercial real estate investment and development where she held a CCIM designation, served on the Executive Council of the Urban Land Institute, and was on the founding board of Texas Women in Real Estate. JoAnn’s professional focus is on the issues of asset protection, wealth preservation and income strategies. JoAnn’s clients include successful individuals, families and business owners who value protecting the wealth they work hard to build and who seek her expertise in planning for the next generation. She is a Certified Financial Planner™, a Chartered Life Underwriter™, a Chartered Financial Consultant™, holds licenses for Group I Individual Life, Variable Life, and is a Registered Investment Advisor Representative with M Holdings Securities, Inc. JoAnn has served as a member of the Advisory Council of the Austin Museum of Arts, the Board of Directors of the Zachary Scott Theatre Center and the founding steering committee of A Legacy of Giving. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of LifeWorks, the founding Board of Trustees of Atticus Circle, and the Advisory Board of The Rude Mechanicals.
