JoAnn’s undergraduate degree was awarded with honors from St. Edward’s University, and she received her master’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin. Her initial career was in the field of commercial real estate investment and development where she held a CCIM designation, served on the Executive Council of the Urban Land Institute, and was on the founding board of Texas Women in Real Estate. JoAnn’s financial expertise includes asset protection, wealth preservation and income strategies. She holds licenses for Group I Individual Life, Variable Life, and is a Registered Representative with M Holdings Securities, Inc. She currently serves as a member of the Advisory Council of the Austin Museum of Arts, the Central Texas Advisory Council of the Trust for Public Lands, the founding Steering Committee of A Legacy of Giving, and the founding Board of Trustees of Atticus Circle.
